A practicing endodontist for more than 20 years, Dr. Carr introduced the operating microscope in endodontics, and he is the inventor and developer of more than 30 unique microsurgical instruments.

Seven years ago, Dr. Carr began developing TDO with Amy Taylor, his Office Manager. Now, TDO is the most comprehensive software program available on the market and has become universally recognized as the gold standard in endodontic software. Dr. Carr lives in Rancho Santa Fe, California, with his wife and son.

Joy has been working with Dr. Carr for 17 years and has helped train over 600 endodontists and their assistants in microscopic assisting techniques at the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation in San Diego, California.

Joy has developed many of the techniques herself and is widely recognized as one of the finest endodontic assistants in the world. She lives in Chula Vista, California, with her husband and two children.
