I was born in Omaha Nebraska but raised in New Mexico and Colorado. Returning to my birthplace, I attended Creighton University for my undergraduate degree (majored in physics) and also received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from there. At the University of Iowa, I continued with my specialty training and received my Certificate of Endodontics and a Masters of Science degree. I am a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and College of Diplomates. Hopefully, knowing that I am “Board Certified” will add confidence in our office. Like many of you, I came out to visit during the winter and found the warm weather alluring so I opened my practice in 1990. In my spare time I lecture both nationally and internationally in addition to writing articles for publication. I'm an advisor for Summit Dental Study Club and Endodontic Practice Magazine. I also cofounded and teach endodontic continuing education with Dr. John S. Stropko DDS at Clinical Endodontic Seminars in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have invented over 20 endodontic products and techiniques.
