General Information

Comprehensive care

When you are referred to the Christchurch Endodontic Practice we will carefully assess your tooth or your painful condition and consider all the options available to resolve your problem. This will involve digital radiographs, photographs, various tests and an assessment not only of the tooth in question but of your mouth in general.

Once a decision is made on what is the most appropriate treatment then we will discuss the cost of this treatment and success rate of that procedure. There are usually other options available to resolve a particular problem and these will also be discussed and offered.

The prospect af any dental treatment is daunting for many patients and we will endeavour to make this as comfortable as possible. As well as carefully giving local anaesthetic, sedation in the form of oral or intravenous midazolam is available, and we have very comfortable dental chairs.

We follow up on treatment to check that it has worked as we expected it to. These follow appointments can go on up to 2-3 years. Sometimes the treatment provided has not worked as we would like and then the options to resolve this are discussed.

We aim to provide the best comprehensive care possible to resolve your dental problem.
